Except God. God doesn't change- He is the same God who was present and active at the Creation of the world, and everything in it.
In the beginning, you laid the foundations of the earth,Things wear out, and people change. But God is immutable. He cannot change for the better, because He is already perfect; and he cannot change otherwise, or He would be less than perfect. He cannot change! How wonderful it is to know that the promises of God in His Word still hold true. My failures don't change Him. My faithlessness won't move Him. Lamentations 3:22 and 23 remind us: Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. These words inspired these wonderful, comforting words of a great hymn:
And the heavens are the work of your hands.
They will perish, but you remain;
They will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
And they will be discarded.
But you remain the same;
And your years will never end. (Psalm 102: 25-27)
Thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not;Lord, I am so thankful for you- the one, unchanging, sure thing in my life. I can know that You are with me- with the same set of instructions, the same rules, the same character- forever.
As thou has been, thou forever wilt be.

I like the perspective you gave comparing the changes in the world around us vs. how God does not change. I can relate!
