"Could God at any time or in any manner receive into His mind knowledge that He did not possess and had not possessed from eternity, he would be imperfect and less than Himself." (A.W. Tozer) Our perfect teacher is not a student, He has never learned and cannot learn.
The unbeliever may shudder at the fact that God knows him inside and out. He may have some things to hide. But we as believers find freedom in God's omniscience! Comfort comes in knowing that no "skeletons" or "weaknesses" can be revealed and turn God away from us.
Psalm 139 reminds us of this attribute. Phrases like, "...you know me...you are familiar with all my ways..for you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb...I am fearfully and wonderfully made...my frame is not hidden from you...all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be..." (v. 1-16).
Lord, thank you for knowing me and loving me! Thank you for giving me freedom in You.

Rather than cringing that God knows me inside and out, I find that it truly is a comfort just as you pointed out, that nothing can be revealed that will turn God away from us. None of us know our own hearts but He does... "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I try the reins, even to give to every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings." We can trust Him - the Only One Who Knows all - to help us overcome all sin.
